Caldwell interior painting, walls, ceilings & trim, done clean.

Fresh walls, crisp ceilings, and trim and doors with a smooth, brushmark-free finish. We prep and prime properly, mask every edge, use low-VOC paint, and leave your home tidier than we found it.

A great interior paint job is ninety percent preparation and ten percent paint. We fill, sand, caulk and prime before a single finish coat goes on, protect your floors and furniture with drop cloths and film, and cut every line by hand for edges that stay crisp. You get walls, ceilings, trim and doors that look flawless up close, and a home left clean at the end of each day.

What we paint inside your home

  • Walls in living spaces, bedrooms, hallways and stairwells
  • Ceilings, flat, smooth or textured, rolled for an even, shadow-free finish
  • Trim, baseboards, crown moulding, window casings and wainscoting
  • Interior doors and door frames, sprayed or brushed to a hard, smooth coat
  • Accent walls and two-tone rooms with clean, laser-straight color breaks
  • Closets, laundry rooms, garages and stairwell risers
  • Kitchens and bathrooms in scrubbable, moisture-tolerant finishes

Prep is where the finish is won

Skipping prep is the fastest way to a job that peels, flashes or shows every roller mark within a year. Here is the groundwork we do before we open the finish paint:

  • Fill & sand, nail holes, dents and old fastener pops filled, then sanded flush and smooth
  • Caulk the seams, gaps at trim, corners and baseboards sealed for one clean, continuous line
  • Prime the bare & stained, patches, raw drywall, water marks and glossy surfaces spot- or fully primed so color sits even
  • Degloss & clean, kitchen and bath surfaces washed and dulled so new paint grips instead of peeling
  • Mask & protect, floors, fixtures, counters and furniture covered before any color goes up

How a Rod’s interior job works

1

Walkthrough & color

We measure each room, talk through colors and sheens, and hand you one clear, itemized quote, no vague "per hour" guesswork.

2

Protect & prep

Furniture is moved and covered, floors and fixtures masked, then we fill, sand, caulk and prime so the surface is ready for a flawless coat.

3

Paint in clean coats

Ceilings first, then walls, then trim and doors, cut by hand and rolled or sprayed in full, even coats of low-VOC paint.

4

Inspect & tidy up

We walk every wall with you under good light, touch up anything that needs it, pull the masking and leave the room clean and put back together.

What every interior job includes

  • Full surface prep, fill, sand, caulk and prime, before any finish coat
  • Floors, furniture and fixtures masked and protected every day
  • Low-VOC, low-odor paint so you can use your rooms sooner
  • Upfront flat-rate pricing approved before work begins
  • Clean lines, full coverage, and a written workmanship warranty

Low-VOC paint and a clean job site

We paint with premium low- and zero-VOC products that go on smooth, cover in fewer coats and hold their color for years, with far less odor so the room is livable again quickly. Just as important is how we work: tidy masking, drop cloths down, dust contained, and a full clean-up at the end of every day so your home never feels like a construction zone.

Premium paints we trust

We work with the top interior lines and match the product to the room, a scrubbable finish for kitchens and halls, a soft matte for ceilings, a tough enamel for trim and doors:

Why homeowners trust us with the brush

We built Rod’s on doing the unglamorous parts right: honest prep, straight lines, full coverage, and a crew that respects your home and cleans up after itself. We quote one fair flat price, stick to it, and stand behind the finish in writing. That's why so much of our work comes from neighbors telling neighbors, and why we've stayed 5.0-star rated across 10 reviews.

Interior painting questions

Good to know

How much does it cost to paint a room?+
It depends on the size of the room, the condition of the walls, how much trim and ceiling work is involved, and the number of colors. That's why we measure in person and give you one flat, upfront price to approve before any work starts, no hourly meter, no surprises.
Do I need to move out or empty the rooms?+
No. We move and cover your furniture, mask floors and fixtures, and work room by room so your home stays livable. Because we use low-VOC, low-odor paint, most rooms are ready to use again the same day the finish coat is dry.
How many coats of paint will you apply?+
Most walls get two full finish coats over proper prep and primer for even color and full coverage. Big color changes, deep or bright shades, and bare or patched surfaces sometimes need an extra coat, we'll tell you up front so it's built into your flat price.
Do you help with color and sheen choices?+
Yes. Your quote visit includes guidance on colors and the right sheen for each room, a durable, scrubbable finish for kitchens and halls, a soft matte for ceilings, and a tough enamel for trim and doors. We can also bring samples so you can see them on your own walls.
How long does an interior repaint take?+
A single room is usually one to two days including prep and drying; a whole-home interior typically runs several days to about a week depending on size and detail. We give you a clear schedule with your quote and keep the work tidy and on track.
